George Clooney’s suaveness has awed onlookers for decades now. Like taxes and the immortal jellyfish, George Clooney being young, witty, and dazzlingly good-looking are things you expect even when the world crumbles to dust. Clooney, who famously starred as Batman in 1997’s so-bad-it’s-good camp classic Batman & Robin, puts a lot of work into his health and appearance. But, to our relief, he also has some simple tips to share with the class.

Being blessed with amazing genetics is a major reason George Clooney looks like he does. Aside from that, Clooney’s love for outdoor activities has a lot to do with his incredible appearance, even at 62. The Oscar-winner has often stated his goal of aging with vitality. Being mentally active and participating in regular casual yet taxing physical activities keep the actor on his toes. Clooney also invests emotionally and physically in multiple passion projects, whether films, series, or frequent studio collaborations. His lifestyle exemplifies how staying physically active, mentally present, and engaged can enable people to age with panache and keep their style intact, regardless of age.

Socialite Life

The Syriana star has repeatedly revealed that a basic, barebones skincare routine makes things refreshing for him. By not complicating things, Clooney maintains his youthful exuberance. He admits to not using any specific product on his skin or hair (although we believe celebrities, at the very least, must have their go-to products like sunscreen with good SPF). “I hit the spa and I enjoy steam rooms, but I really don’t use any specific product,” he told The Mirror. He continued, “Just a good ivory soap will do.” Simplicity has paid great dividends for the Oscar-winning superstar as he still looks at the top of his game despite the minimalism of his daily habits and skincare routine that he follows regularly for himself.

George Clooney also believes that fighting the aging process can be stressful. “I think for all of us, you have to come to terms with getting older and not trying to fight it,” he told Jenni Murray, the presenter of Women’s Hour. He continued ,“You have a couple of options, which is get older, or die. And so you have to get used to that idea that your roles in films and who you are and how you’re perceived is going to change. That will disappoint people at times.”

So, coming to terms with it rather than trying to reverse or slow it down helps him be at peace with himself. Clooney is all for embracing his age and the aging process in general. By doing so, he no doubt maintains his effortlessly handsome and easy-going persona.
