Spotted at the tender age of 14 by Sarah Doukas, the owner of the modeling agency Storm, Kate Moss instantly caught the attention of people from the fashion world and regulars like us because… well, she was a natural! At a time when decked-up looks were the thing, Kate Moss—rather unknowingly—broke this norm by being her most natural self. And she became an instant fashion icon when her photographs were published in the style magazine The Face.

It wasn’t just her natural look that won hearts in England and beyond – at an average height of five feet seven inches, Moss broke the stereotype of overarchingly tall models and soon emerged as the anti-supermodel. Kate Moss launched her skincare line COSMOSS in 2022 with a range of offerings. “Obviously, I wanted it to be soothing and regenerative. But also, I wanted to include essential oils with holistic and homeopathic benefits as well,” she shared with W Magazine.So, from cleansers and oils to face creams and mists, this brand has everything you’d need for a comprehensive skincare routine, which is what Kate Moss advocates, along with some other simple remedies.

Apart from following a skincare routine with her brand’s products, Kate Moss strongly believes in protecting the skin from sun exposure. She religiously applies an SPF 50 sunscreen during the day and removes makeup gently so it doesn’t affect her skin. Moss also swears by the old-school ice-plunge technique. In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, she revealed, “The ice plunge is the best trick.” She explained, “Fill a sink with ice cubes, cold water, and slices of cucumber and hold your face in for as long as you can. It instantly reduces puffiness and tightens up your skin.”
