She was also the highest paid actress in the country in 2010 and 2014. Sandra Bullock gained widespread recognition in Demolition Man in 1993, after which she rose to unprecedented popularity with her romantic comedies, from While You Were Sleeping and The Proposal to Two Weeks Notice and the classic Miss Congeniality.

But that’s not it, Bullock also founded her production company Fortis Films and even opened a restaurant Bess Bistro, which had a successful run for nine years before it closed down in 2015. With so many feathers in her cap, the Gravity star is on a much-needed sabbatical at the moment. But of course, her public appearances continue, and she’s nothing short of stunning! While we thought that her fitness routine must be something out of the ordinary, we were quite surprised with what we discovered.


Sandra Bullock’s approach to health and fitness is quite basic. The charismatic actress believes in having fresh food in limited portions to stay fit. In an interview with InStyle, Sandra Bullock exemplifies how nutrition plays a role in her health, “Like last night, I had brown rice, black beans, and some steamed vegetables.” She aims to have meals that properly balance carbs, proteins, and fats, and she swaps coffee with green tea.

In terms of exercise, Bullock shares that she dances to let her hair down at the end of every week, come what may. She also likes to engage in outdoor activities, especially when in Austin. She shares with InStyle, “When I’m in Austin, I run or ride a bike.” Further, Bullock trains under the reputed celebrity trainer Simone De La Rue, who created the dynamic Body By Simone dance-based cardio exercise method.


In general, Sandra Bullock follows an incredibly minimalistic fitness approach by eating well, staying physically active, having plenty of water, avoiding direct sun exposure, and exfoliating regularly.

We don’t need another reason to love Sandra Bullock, do we? The actor has been given the title “America’s sweetheart” for her charming and self-deprecating, grounded and talented personality, and we’re definitely not surprised!
